A high-altitude Himalayan resort town set on the Beas River, Manali is renowned as both a backpacking hub and a honeymoon destination. It serves as a gateway for skiing in Solang Valley, trekking in Parvati Valley, and launching points for paragliding, rafting, and mountaineering.
